Valentine's Day Celebration

It's been 2 months since I last updated my blog. Hehhee some of my friends are asking why have I not been updating my blog. There is only one reason. This is because I am "LAZY". I have always been lazy like a PIG. Hahahhaha ...

Yesterday was Valentine's day. We didn't have much celebration. Well, I always believe that once you signed on the dotted line, there will be no more suprises. I believed that it don't happen to all the couples but it happened to me. I know Casey is never a romantic person. Therefore, we decide to celebrate this day with another couple. Hhehheheh... Group outing is more fun. We can share the food, we can chat about anything under the sky.

After surverying for half a day, we decided on Emerald lodge at Mount Faber. I was looking forward to it when my friend told me that it will cost $230 per couple for a set dinner. In the end, we settled for Hooters at Clarke Quay. Next, we proceeded to Cheese cake cafe for dessert. Their cakes are really nice. They won't leave any after taste in the mouth. The price is slightly higher at about $7.90 Per slice. I guess they are really famous. When we arrived at 1145pm, they told us that they will close at 1230am sharp. They have a policy that every person will have to order at least one item. I was thinking how come this shop is so strict with their policy & why they are so 'proud'. We went all the way to east coast road from clarke quay therefore we will want to try it out no matter how proud they are. Hheheeh after tastingthe cakes, I understand why they are so "proud". Their cakes are really nice. At 1230am sharp, they informed us that they are closed for the day. They are telling us to disappear. Hhahahah

Holiday Mood

I will be busy for the next 2 weeks. There will be lots of gathering with our friends. I'm looking forward to all of the gathering as it had been a long time since we last met.

20/12 - Pre Xmas celebration cum gift exchange at my house. We will have steamboat cum ze Chye, Roast beef & log cake for dinner. Yummy!!!! There will be so much food :P

The ingredients I had thought of for steamboat are - Fish (40pcs), Pork Ball (2Pkt), Fish Dumplings (2pkts), Hotdog (2pkts), Luncheon meat (2 cans), Fried Beancurd skin (4 Pkts), Chicken slices (2 Drumbstick), Pork slices (3 Trays), Prawn (1kg), Pacific Clams (1 can), Vegetable, Golden mushroom & corns

For Ze Chye, I will buy Fried Tofu (Medium), Sweet & Sour Pork (Medium), Fried You Tiao (Medium) & lastly singapore most famous seafood "CHILLI CRAB with FRIED MANTOU'.

We will also order "ROast beef"as this is a special request from my best friend Weiyan.

We will have Gelare ice-cream log cake for dessert. Thinking of it, I am drooling now :P I'm worried I have too much food for 11-12 of us.

21/12 - Gathering with Pearl & Angela at Verandah Cafe at Shangrila Hotel. I heard that the high tea there is famous. I hope it is really famous & good.

24/12 - Gathering at my house with Casey's ex-colleagues. My best friend "Eliss" had sent one recipe book from coles for xmas food ideas. I think I will get some ideas from there.

26/12 (Midnight) - 4/12 - Honeymoon @ Beijing with all my family members. THere will be 11 of us. I am really looking forward to this trip as this is the 1st time Casey & myself will be travelling to a winter country. Hurray!!!!

I wonder would I have enough time to tidy my house before I go on a holiday. There are so many presents for me to wrap but I have yet to start wrapping.

Yesterday, I went to Lei Garden restaurant for Dim Sum Lunch with my family. The food was good butthe price was slightly pricey. Will update pictures later...

7/12 - Pinic at East Coast. Shopping at Orchard. I bought my favourite shoes for Chinese New Year. We had dinner at Crystal Jade Korean restaurant. It was a bit expensive at $40 per pax. Nevertheless, we enjoyed outselves.

I have been too lazy to update my blog. Been doing this & that...

Just some qns that puzzles me ... Seems like the person who upset me didnt know what is happening ...

1. How do you feel when ur partner asked u to share a room with another couple doing ur honeymoon trip??

2. How do you feel when ur partner forgotten the model of the coach bag u r yeaning for? U had already repeated many times which bag you wan?

3. How do you feel when ur partner just cant give you his dad's invitation list for your upcoming wedding?

4. How do you feel when he just cant remember what you ask him to do?

5. Howdo you feel when he cannot remember what food you have been longing for?

No many how many million times you tell him he is still the same ... Tell me what will you do?

Hahah im always a happy girl.. Is just too tiring to think all of the above. Just take one time as it is ba ... very sien, very tired but cant pour out my feeling coz I don't know how to describe.

Maybe I shouldnt expect too much. Maybe is my fault to expect this & that.

But no worries, I will always be a happy girl :)

Been on crazy diet for the past 1 weeks past. This diet had to last for 2 weeks. Everyday my meals will consist of the following :
Bfast - Soya Milk (no Sugar) with 2 Eggs
Lunch - Chicken drumstick with cucumber juice
Dinner - 2 eGGS
Daily Beverage includes only CUCUMBER JUICE
How well have I been coping? QUite good... though I always have craving for my favourite food but I always manage to control myself. Wat's the result so Far? I lost 3kg but it just stopped there. I doubt I can go further.
Im quite happy with my result so far, hopefully I am able to get more variety of wedding gowns for my photoshoot. I hope I will be able to do some exercise. Well, it is easy to say but difficult to do.

Still hoping to get back my $7oo but hehehe is a long & complicated procedure which I hate it but then I do not wish those dishonest retailers to con my $700. Hahaha

I have been thinking a lot lately. I was quite upset for a while over some issue. I know things & life have change for everybody & their priority are different now. I have a lots of friends but not a lot of close friend. Why do I say that?? hehehe Well certain things I rather keep it to my heart :)

I wonder shouldn't the preparation of wedding be fun & enjoyable & exciting? How come I don't have any of the feeling? I feel very sien.. Dun feel like preparing anymore. Can I back out now? I went into the forum again today to see about the latest comment on Mr & Miss Wedding Club. Sigh!!! There is another piece of negative comment I read. It really make me feel very very discouraged. I totally had no confident in the company. These are the comments I read. I quoted directly from the forum I read online.

If you are going to be bride or the customer of the bridal shop, will u beworried? I really have no confident that the shop will still open in Oct. I just hope they can return partial of my deposit (ie $700) which I paid 2 weeks back but I know this is impossible. The conditions stated,once payment have been made, no refund will be given.

I am really very tired for worrying about all this. I already pay $2k so I really cant give up on the package yet. I called one of our local organisation whereby most of the consumer will call for help when they have problems with the retailers. Upset to say that they didnt give any suitable solution. My qns to them was "I had paid a deposit to this A company. Now the A company had sold their company or change their label to B company. Can I ask for a refund for the 2nd deposit paid (2 weeks back) since at the moment when I paid I didnt know they will issue me with a "B" company receipt." Well, the organisation staff was not so friendly though. He asked why did I jump the gun saying the company might close down. I told him my fear. After a while, he told me since the company had not ceased operation, I should not be worrying too much. Well all the while I had never believed in this kind of organisation. But since Im so desperate, I decideto give it a try. The staff commented that since the company had not wind up, there is nothing much they can do. Hahah at that moment, I really feel like telling them, do you think you can help us if the company really wind up or do u expect me to call for help when it close down. It will be too late then. By that time, the organisation will tell us, Im so sorry but I cant find the person in charge anymore.

Anyway, I cant blame anyone la. We are the one who made the decision. This is really really a very bad choice that I cant get over it la ... Im trying to cheer up but how? But from what we know, the new company's director are "CHIENSE"- CHINA CHINESE. 95% of their staff are from china. I really have bad impression on CHINESE so how can I hold on till oct?

Hhahahah anyway just wait & see ba .. Im very tired mentally liao. very sien...

My Personal Thoughts

I have not been feeling very good recently. It is not about having any sickness. My emotional have been feeling quite down. I have been thinking a lot too. It's all about my upcoming wedding.

Bridal Package
My bridal package is from Mr & Miss Wedding Club. Why do we choose the package in the beginning? I do not have the answer but maybe it is just Yuan Fen ba. We sign up because we felt their package is within our budget & it is quite comprehensive. When we signed up, we tried to ask them to write everything in black & white. After the contract was signed & deposit paid, the sales was not as friendly as she was in the initial stage. This got me worried. I decide to go online & checked. I was quite shocked to find out that about 90% of the comments to the company was negative. Worst I already paid 80% of my package to the company. I cant just forgo my money. Recently, when we went to choose our gown, we realised that the company had changed their management. Accordingly to the staff, there was just a change of management & not a change of boss. Okie we took their word. But the company name had been change to VENUS. I checked on the forum again & read from some of them that the old boss had actually sell his company. I really have bad impression on the company. They keep reassuring me that there will be no problem. They even insist I made full payment during my photography session. This is impossible coz I wont be as stupid again. Also, their photography skill & gowns are not fantastic at all. They don't allow us to choose the photographer. Anyway I saw from the forum that the company is left with 1 photographer only. His photography skill sucks. Sigh Im seriously very very worried. I worried that my photographs will be ugly. Even JHB studio pictures are nicer than theirs. I am afraid the company will close down even before my big day. Im really very very worried. Casey's suggested we get another photography session from JHB but im relunctant to do so as I dont wish to spend so much. Moreover, the photographs will be kept in the storerooms after our wedding. I just keep my finger cross that the company won't close down before my Big Day. Im very very upset. I have start looking for contigency plans. If im given a 2nd chance, I will defiintely go JHB to get the bridal pkg. The staff there are so much professional than the singapore ones. They wont hardsell to you just because they want to earn more commission.

My future in law
As usual, I feel upset lo. Casey's friend visited us yesterday. His friend just got married not long ago. Their marriage was a last minute decison as his wife was pregnant. Even though their marriage was a last minute decision, at least the male family respected the female family. They gave everything that is needed to the female family. Like dowry, suckling pig etc. Sigh, it make me think that Casey's family don't bother about me at all. We got a whole yr to prepare our wedding. But until NOW, there wasnt any official discussion between the 2 family. I really feel 心理不平横. I feel their family treat me like nothing or is this my life that I brought from my last life. Last time, Hengky Stanley's mum also treated me like shit which is 1000xxx worst than now. I will never forget how she treated me & Im sure one day she will get her own karma. I really feel very unhappy but there isnt anything we can do. Sometimes, I really feel im letting my parents down. Sigh, altough marriage should be 2 person's thing but my parents are more traditional. Now, they are marrying their daugther off but seems like giving their daughter away. I know my parents are not happy with my in laws but they just say nothing in order not to give me more stress.

This few weeks I just feel so down with the above 2 issues. I just have no more mood to prepare for my wedding. I just feel like hiding away & cancel the wedding. But everything is too late liao la .. hahah coz I already sign..

I reckon I had not been updating my blog regularly. Personally I just feel so lazy & do not have the feeling to update it.

For the past one month, I had been living my time quite leisurely. In February, we celebrated Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day. Since 2 1/2 weeks ago, I had been attending induction course. The course was fun. There were team building activities, group discussion & interaction with the different colleagues from different department of our organisation.

Valentine's day celebration was normal this year. This is because both of us were saving money for our wedding in October. Nevertheless, we celebrated with home cook WAGYU beef steak & chicken chop. The taste was marvellous. We had red wine to go with the steak & chop. Dessert was Hagan Daz cheesecake ice-cream accompanied with moscato wine. It was yummy.

This is the last year of my Ang Bao collection. Hehe not bad ... I collected about $280plus plus. My family & relatives went to Kukup on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Kukup is a relaxing place. We enjoyed sumptous bbq dinner.

Hokkaido Trip 24th - 30th Dec 2007

I am back from my Hokkaido Trip. The weather there is super cold. It falls between -10 degrees celsius to 4 degrees celsius. The whole trip is quite relaxing as it takes approximately 2hrs or more to reach a sightseeing place. As it gets dark at 4pm, therefore we could only visit about 3 sightseeing places per day. The snow there is beautiful. The hotspring there is nice. It would be more fun if Casey can join us :)

We joined a 7 Days Hokkaido East "Winter Love" from Hong Thai.

Day 02 (25 Dec) - MERRY CHRISTMAS

We arrived at Osaka International Airport at 5am. We were to take another domestic airport to Sapporo. We were given free time to have breakfast at the airport. We decide to try out the breakfast at Macdonald

"My Macdonald Bfast, See the "M" word printed on the burger. This is quite nice. Something like 2 pieces of pancake with sauage & eggs in between. Taste is sweet & salty. We dun get to try this in Singapore :P

Upon arrival, we visited Tokachikawa where it is famous for its hotspring. I personally tried the hotspring & YES my skin became smoother after that.

We had set lunch & buffet for dinner.

I had a hair cut yday. After so many weeks of complain, I finally cut my hair. My hair is so much lighter now. Hair gets dry easier.

Yesterday, we tried out the washing machine left by my previous owner. We realised that the washing machine doesn't suits us. It is still usable but my piping does not support top load washing machine. I have no choice but to buy another front load washing machine yesterday at Harvey Norma. I got quite a good deal. I got a discount of $70 for the washing machine & $35 for the extended warranty. Not only that, we were still entitled to the free gift of a DVD player. Nothing fantastic though but at least it is a free gift. Hahah I declare Casey & myself bankruptcy. There are just so many unexpectation that pop out last minutre. My initial plan was to purchase a washing machine in December when I get my bonus. Hahah as if I confirm will get bonus in December.

We also bought a cheap microwave by LG. I think I like korea very much. Im into KOREAN Brand. My products are mostly from LG & Samsung. I bought them because they are cheaper compare to other brands. Haha

I forseen myself to be quite busy for the rest of Sep & Oct. I wan to find ways to earn more money. Hahah .... Now thenI realise it is not easy to build upa home coz everysingle thing needs money. I am thankful that I have a supportive family. In terms of monetary & physically help. Hahahah ... Okie I dun deny that my parents are still as naggy especially my dad who sometimes try to act SMART. But I know he is trying to help ... Sometimes I still find him a nuisence.

Never blog for a long time

I have not been blogging for a whole 2 weeks. What have I been busy with? hahah a lot alo of things to do ... Liming's birthday celebration, Poh Leong birthday celebration, Our house renovation etc...

Why am I so free to update my blog now is because I am on MC today. Am I feeling very sick? not really ... But I really have terrible headache... It will not be good to stare at the computer for too long. That is a Min yuan from Dr Leong.

Liming Celebration (24th Aug)
We celebrated her bday at Pizza Hut Restaurant. We bought her a watch from Sovil.

Poh Leong Bday Celebration (25th Aug)
We had his celebration at Soup Restaurant. We had the famous San Shui chicken. The chicken taste fabulously good with the lettuce. The lettuce is just go crispy & fresh. We had their famous Prawn Tofu. Actually I dont find that nice. I think the sau
ce is tastless. I still like the San Shui Chicken best. After dinner, we set off to TCC for coffee.

For the rest of the week, I was busy doing my house. As we did not do our living & bedroom floor tiles, therefore the tiles look kinda old. The line in between the tiles was black in colour. Yucks.. Our painter teach us a smart way to turn the black line (gap) into white gap. We painted the entire gap & it was as good as new.

Our house is 90% done. There is still some ratification to be done. Once it is done, we can start moving our things in bit by bit. I'm very excited about it. It is entirely a place call our own. There are still things to buy. It seems like the things to buy are endless. I have gone to ikea for a few times but there are still things i need to buy.

I was feeling very stress & upset last month. I even grumbled hat Casey is no good blar blar blar... I realised that it could be due to my PMS. After my menses, I felt better. Actually it is not bad to grumble, eventually Casey is handling everything himself. He makes phone call to the contractor, he talked to them , discuss & settle problems with them without bothering me. Im quite happy & satisfied. Still I haven't watch the movie that I wanted. I reckon that we are really busy now so it really isn't his fault. I just hope after all the renovation are done, he will still remember to BRING ME FOR MOVIE. NEXT MONTH WILL BE MY BIRTHDAY. I WONDER WAT SURPRISE WILL HE GIVE ME. LAST YEAR, HE SURPRISE ME ON A CABLE CAR DINNER.

I wonder is it becoz we have been seeing each other for 2 yrs plus so nowadays I dun feel the chemistry or sparks in us. I know he still treats me the same but the feeling is just different. Is it because we are too comfortable with each other that he feels he does not need to put in the same effort that he put in last time. I still misses the moment where he will surprise me with my favourite cheese cake, soft toys & dessert. Yeah the things maybe very cheap but is the thoughts that count. anyway I UNDERSTAND THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO DO ALL THIS. i MUST THINK POSITIVELY & BE A BETTER GF. HAHAAH ...

Krabi Trip (15th - 18th Aug 07)

I just got back from my Krabi Trip last night. Krabi is having their monsoon season now. It had been raining since the 1st day we stepped down till the last day we went home. It was kinda disappointing as the wet weather had restrained us from many activities. We couldn't go to Phi Phi Island, 4 islands around krabi, shopping .. So many things we didnt do. We changed about $500 Sin dollars but im still left with about 2000 baht. Im so disappointed as there is practically nothing to buy in Krabi. I only bought a pair of slippers for myself & 4 cushions cover for my sofa. It is just so pathetic. haha .. Im sorry friends that I didnt get you anything this time round.

On the 2nd day, we did go to White water rafting even though it was raining heavily. The entire tour was fun. We went for elephant riding in the morning, following by a motor cycle riding & Ox cart riding. In the afternoon, we went for white water rafting. I think only "ang mo" goes there coz I did not see any singaporean. We were in experience so we did not bring our swim suit along .. Everybody was in their swim suit except us. Haha .. We were drenched the whole day but luckily we did not fall sick.

On the 2nd night & 3rd day, we had traditional thai massage. We had a good experience for our massage on the 3rd day. haha .. We had it by the beach & it was raining heavily & fiercely. The wind was so fierce & we were so worried that the stall will be blown off by the wind. It was very cheap though. It cost only 300baht (equivalent to $14) for a 2hr massage. Where to find it in Singapore? hahaa Somemore can bargin one ...

As for food, we enjoyed the italian meal the most. There is a shop where they served really cheap & nice pizza. It cost only 150 baht for a 32 cm pizza. It is just so so so so so cheap right. Other than that, most of the time we had authentic thai food. It is kinda boring so there is nothing to blog about.

I had not been updating for 2 weeks already. What have I been busy with for the past 2 weeks?

From the pictures, you can tell that I had attended somebody's wedding ...

Last sunday (08/07), it was Minghui & Janice big day. We were Janice's sisters ... We had lots of fun with the grooms & his song di. But they aren't very sporty le .. coz they purposely came late. Their dinner was held at Carlton Hotel Singapore. The food & service was not to our expectation.

Menu for the night

- Combination of Suckling Pig, BBQ pork, Baby Octopus, Spring Rolls & Jelly Fish

- Braised Shark's Fin with Conpoy & Golden Mushroom

- Sauteed Scallops with Sliced Chicken

- Stir Fried Prawns 'Kong Po" Style

- Roasted "Pipa Duck"

- Steamed Pomfret with Black Bean Sauce

- Braised Ee-Fu Noodles

- Red Bean Cream with Glutinous Rice Balls

The dishes are sumptous. The portion are big. But the service staff are no good. Nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves as it is our good friend's wedding.

I am now planning my minor renovation for my coming 3 room flat at Yishun. Im so happy that I am going to get the keys at last. The appointment have been fixed on 25th July 2007 @ 1545hrs. Im so happy :) ... Finally for the long wait, I can get my keys .. This will be my own house with Casey... Okie ppl call that as Love nest .. hahaha .. but also my worries are coming coz there are so much money to spend $$$$ ..

In the process of waiting the keys, some issues happened which made me quite stress up & fustrated. After all the hassle, I realised the problem lies in the agent.. Well, I think never trust a sales person too much regardless what you buy .. haha dun wish to talk about the unhappy event..

After Janice's wedding, the next wedding will be another of our good friend, Linda. I will be one of the sister & also the MC. Imaging me becoming an MC?????? Since I talk so fast, I wonder if any aunties & uncles will understand what I say ..hahaha

Last thursday, I just got my bonus. 0.5 Month bonus. The bonus can help me to cover the cost of some electrical applicances which I purchased :)

It had been about 2 weeks plus since I last updated my blog. I had been very very busy for the past few weeks. I had been very very tired for the last 2 weeks... What am I busy with? Im not sure too. I nearly forgotten I had not updated my blog for 2 weeks.

16 June 07 - Saturday
I went to ICA to apply Casey's PR. We reached ICA building at around 745hrs. I was shocked how long the queue was. I couldnt believe that so many people are going to ICA to apply for something .. We manage to get into the building at around 0805hrs. We got our queue number at 0821hrs & the last queue no given was at 0829hrs. Total no of queue given were 120 on saturday. Our queue number was 115. I really couldn't believe that SO MANY PEOPLE WERE APPLYING for PR. Most of the people applying were either from China & India. I hope Casey can get his PR during his 1st try cause I don't like to appeal & wait again. The long waiting time will make myself very nervous.

I went to my cousin's house thereafter to look at his new renovated house. To my disappointment, the renovation wasn't that impressive. I was the one who introduced that company to him. I don't how come the workman ship is so different from the other house that I had visited previously. It now makes me think twice whether should I appoint that contractor to renovate my future house?

In the evening, we went Harvey Norman to look at TV. I saw a 32 inch LG TV. It cost S$1,999 before discount. It is the latest model by LG. Hehehe ... so I consulted my brother. He is very nice .. He say it will be my wedding present. When I am getting married, Im not sure too? But dun care la .. Since he want to give me as a gift, I better not reject him. We didnt buy immediately, we decide to consider about it.

17 June 07 (Sunday)
My brother, mother, Casey & I decided to go to Courts at Tampines whereby there should be more choices for TV, Fridge, Washing Machine & Cooker Hood. We headed down all the way from Yishun to Tampines. I thought a big company should have very good service. I am all wrong. The staff at courts seems like they are reluctant to do business. I think their salary don't go by commission instead they just collect fixed salary. Why do I say so .. This is because they are not keen/eager to do business. Let me explain why :

Experience when looking at fridge :
- I saw a latest model by Panasonic which cost S$999. I wanted to save money so I was deciding whether to get a model by LG instead which cost only $599. I decide to approach one of the sales staff. Guess what the man said : "U want go fridge ah, then you should get the ones which cost S$4000+++" All this panasonic or LG isnt very good. Even though Panansonic has the energy saving mode but it isnt true since i wasnt proven by NEA" .. When he said that, he was very arrogant. I think he looked down on people who can only afford to buy fridge which cost less than $1000.

Experience when looking at Cooker Hood :
- My mum was teaching me which kind of the cooker hood is better. I saw an aunty sales staff standing there looking very free so I decided to approach her. May I know which cooker hood is recommendable? Her reply was "I don't le. Since you guys already have so much comment about the cooker hood, why dun you just look around yourself?" I was shocked with her answer ..

Experience when looking at washing machine :
- May I know whether is LG or Samsung better? Another salesman replied me : "AMERICAN BRAND is the best" Korean brand are all no good? No good? My house is using SAMSUNG & it is still functioning well & Good ...

Seriously, my first reaction for the above 3 was ##@@!!!!@###### .... I was thinking whether do they only serve rich people or they do not have sales quota? I was a very serious buyer but since they give this type of service, it is okie for me to go to other shops. They are many big players in the market. Harvey Norman, Best Denki, Gain City Etc.. Since they are not interested to do business, I think it is perfectly all right. I really have very bad experience with Courts & I think I wont go to their shop anymore. I will also not recommend other people to go to their shop.

In the end, I got my TV from harvey Norman.

From Mon to Wed last week, I was on course. Thur & Friday was 2 relaxing days at work coz boss was not around... Next week, I better buck up ..

Yesterday, I went to meet the ID. Her service was quite good. Most likely, I will appoint her company to do the minor renovation of my house. I keep my finger crossed & hope the workmanship is good. In the late afternoon, I met up with Weiyan to make her spectacle. We had dinner at one of the Jap-Korean restaurant at Millemmium walk. If you don't like to dine at crowded place on a weekend, I suggest you guys to go there.

Today .. I did nothing practically. Just laze around the whole day. Don't feel like thinking too much .. hahah ..

Today is Monday. It is a blue Monday. I don't understand why I am always so tired lately. My eyes just feel so tired even though I didnt look at computer on Friday & Saturday. I had not been updating my blog .. Coz im just so lazy & do not have the patient to wait for my pics to upload. Weekend had been kinda busy ..

Friday (08/06) - Weiyan's Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Weiyan's birthday on Friday. We had dinner at Bakerzin followed by Karaoke at K-Box AMK Broadway. Peimei, Casey, Jeanette & me had dinner with her at Vivocity Bakerzin. Peimei & Weiyan had Ham & bacon Penne. Jeanette had Steak burger. Casey had Mussels Linguni cooked in White Wine. I had my favourite Olio .. Duno wat linguni .. Haha I duno wat's call but it is something like chinese fried noodle. We had side order of a portion of their crispy pizza & Squid Salad. Crispy Pizza was very fresh & it tasted nice. Squid Salad was just so so .. We had 2 pieces of cake, a scoop of rum & rasin each for dessert. The food was consider fantastic comparing to the buffet we had the week before. After that, we all went to Karaoke at AMK. It was quite fun as it was kinda long before we actually went out till so late at night. Haha :)

Saturday (09/06)

Woke up at 9plus coz casey needs to run some errand. In the afternoon, we had lunch at a small indonesia eatery at lucky Plaza. The food is kinda nice. Casey had Ayam Bakar (I suppose it is like BBQ chicken with BBQ sauce). I had Bak Mie.. I think the one at Jakarta still taste better. I should had ordered the BBQ chicken rice set coz that one is nice .. We shared Gado Gado as our side dish. After lunch, we met up with my parents & brother for a GSS shopping spree. I think only my brother & casey had their shopping spree. I left home with nothing. My brother bought 3 shirts, 1 Belt & 1 Pants. He is so rich .. I was really very very tired after the long day & my leg nearly break. Haha

Sunday (10/06) - Met up with Eliss & Ernest who had just came back from Australia..

My best friend from Sydney had came back. We were looking forward to this day since 2 weeks ago. We had our steamboat gathering at Pearl's house. We had lots of food for our dinner. We had pork, chicken, beef, Seafood, Vegetable, Corn, hotdog, Fishballs, Luncheon Meat, Meat Ball, Beef Ball, Tau Kee, Hee Kiau, Seafood Tofu, Fish Meat, Bee Hoon & Vercemili. Eliss brought back a surprise for all of us - A Fresh Abalone. Yum yum .. It is totally different from the can abalone we bought from the shops. I think it looks like a Oyster. The taste is .. Duno why I feel it taste something like Oyster .. Haha Some of the pictures ..

Still not very good at blogging. Some pictures was lost or deleted by me during the process. Okie I will try to do a better job next time..Tommorrow is my organisation In-Service day. Our activity for tommorrow is to clean the beach at East Coast Park.. I hope tommorrow the sun wont be too strong if not I will become darker again .. I dont want to be dark .. People will comment about my bad complexion again. But I heard there wont be any program in the afternoon. So sad .. Good Nite ..

Weiyan's Birthday Celebration

Saturday was Weiyan's Birthday Celebration. We had Mediterranean cum Seafood dinner at Hotel Intercontinental - Olive Restaurant. The food was SO SO only. It cost $62+++ Per Person. Due to the steep rate, I was expecting something really fantastic & sumptuous but it turn out to be quite NORMAL except for the prawn which was really huge & juicy. According to Casey, the oyster was not fresh & the smell was fishy. The dessert was not bad as they have quite a lot of varieties. There was freshly made crepes with caramel banana, fresh blueberry & honeydew toppings. The crepe taste nice without any topping if you eat it piping hot! They serve nice chocolate cake but I gave it a miss because I was too slow in grabbing a piece. When I wanted a piece, it was all gone... Haha too bad...

I think I am still unfamiliar with the inserting of the pictures. I had been using about half an hour to upload this few pictures. I think I am really not IT savvy ... Haha I was trying to make the pictures look more nicely but I just keep deleting the pictures accidentally. I had to re upload the pictures everytime when I delete it. Dun understand why there isn't any undo button in here. Maybe it is because I do not know how to use the program. It is all my fault.

I still have lots of pictures to upload. There are also after dinner program pictures but I am really very sleep now. I will try to update when I have the time .. Haha ..Maybe I will do it tomorrow.. Good Nite & Sweet Dreams ...

I woke up at 9am today. Met Liming at Yio Chu Kang Mrt .. We went to facial together. According to her, the facial should not cost more than $50. I decide to set my budget at $60. Guess how much is my facial? It is $78 .. Totally out of my budget. But im quite pleased with the service provided coz the lady did quite a good/clean job. Okie I dun understand why I have clog pores suddenly. All along my skin had been quite okie ... Recently, I realise my skin tone is not balance. Liming's cost is even more scary. She did an acne treatment at $98. Hahah kuai zai rite .. She even bought the skin care product. It cost $400+++ dollars ... So ex .. Realise my friend is so rich.. Actually it is alright for her to indulge & spend at her age. For my age, I cant do that anymore. I still remember I go for facial, medi & pedicure once a month. Now, I cant afford to that anymore ... Coz my objective now is my FUTURE HOME!!!!!! I miss the time when I was 20 years old ..

Im looking forward to saturday ... Duno wat to write liao ..hueuheuheue Good nite ..

Hello Friends. This is the first blog I had ever created. I am still trying out the function but it seems fun. I am on MC today therefore I am so free to blog at home now. Im so bored. Nobody to company me on a Monday afternoon. Haha...

I will only need to work 3 days. Monday -MC, Tue & Wed - Work, Thu - Public Holiday, Friday - Work, Sat&Sun - off... What a nice week? I am not even working for half a week.

I am going for steamboat dinner with my colleagues on Wednesday night. I am meeting up with my friends on Saturday to celebrate Weiyan's friend. We are going to Olive restaurant at Intercontinental Hotel for dinner. I hope the food there is nice as it is rather expensive. After dinner, we will be going to Loof Bar. Haha Im so happy coz I have never been there before. Let's hope after the birthday celebration, I will have some pictures to share.
